Below are some of the key pieces to having that day dream-worthy Pinterest room look!
I own most of the things I mention below, and I love them so much. They truly make the biggest difference in a room, whether you get all of them, or just a few. Have fun exploring and styling your room!
Fairy lights
Fairy lights give a magical and cozy feeling that you have to have for a bohemian bedroom! You can string them over your bed, dresser, plants, or window!
Woven Baskets
Woven baskets give a natural, textured feeling to a room and are super useful for blankets, laundry, decor, and more!
White Bedding
White bedding does wonders in making a room look bright, airy, and fresh. White linen is especially complementing to boho vibes, and makes the perfect foundation for throw pillows and blankets!
Throw Rugs
These super popular bohemian printed rugs add such a beautiful pattern and fun flare to a room! As you can see in the pictures below and on my Pinterest boards, these rugs pair perfectly with natural elements and fabric – and they look especially good on wood floors.
Plants
I don’t think that you could achieve the perfect boho room without plants – they’re the main part of it! Plants just bring life and color and beauty to a room, especially when paired with a lovely pot. If you want to know the best plants for beginners, click here!
Throw Blankets
Ahh, aren’t these such gorgeous blankets? They just scream boho vibes. Make sure that you have a white bed cover when adding throw blankets and pillows, so that patterns and colors don’t get confused and mixed up.
Makeup & Jewelry Organizers
Organization is key for a bright and happy room. It makes everything feel so much lighter and stress free. I use the makeup organizer on the right for skincare, hair accessories, makeup, and essential oils. The jewelry organizer on the left is also super bright, and is perfect for organizing and admiring your necklaces!
Throw Pillows
Throw pillows make such a difference in a room. They add personality, detail, and coziness! Make sure that you get pillows that complement the colors in your room, and keep in mind that textures make a big difference in style as well!

These look like little bursts of sunshine, and truly make a room feel so much brighter and happy. I love the natural boho look of these mirrors, and they’re the perfect size to hang above a dresser, vanity, or just anywhere you like!
Floral Tapestry
I was a little hesitant to get a tapestry, because I didn’t want my room to look too cluttered or have too many patterns, but this tapestry does the opposite. It makes my room look so much brighter and complements everything so well. And the colors are just gorgeous!

I do have a question … I need help for my own room! Could you give me tips for giving it a boho style? color schemes, strategies?
My biggest problems are …
1. Its small, and there are FIVE built in features!: Bedroom door, closet door, cubby, vanity, and window! So its impossible to rearrange …
2. The window sill is white but the rest of the wood is stained brown. Should I leave it or paint all the wood white?
Honestly I’ll take any advice I can get! Please help me! 😂

I adore thissss 💓 My problem is I can’t afford to redecorate my whole room, especially when room decor is as expensive as it is. Slowly but surely I’m finding beautiful things to add to my room though so I can’t wait until I have all I need 🙂 Loved this!

But you don’t need to buy a bunch of fancy decor for a cute boho room – you can buy some pretty cheap plants at your grocery store, as well as fairy lights and even bed covers. Also, DIYing your decor is a great and cheap way to make cute things! I’m glad that you enjoyed though, and thanks for commenting! 😊

I LOVE THIS! My office room is a mix of boho and vintage and I shall have to incorporate some of these ideas . . . Most notably the fairy lights I think!xx

I would love to do that, but I am currently in the process of remodeling my room, so it will have to be sometime in the future!
