There is lots of unrest, anger, grief, and just downright evil happening in our world right now. People who are hurt want justice, people who are ignored and feel unloved want attention, those who are angry want a vent, and the Devil is using all of this to cause fear, destruction, and death.
But guess what?
Jesus doesn’t ignore us – he listens (Jer. 29:12-13, Ps. 66:17-20)
Jesus doesn’t hurt – he heals (Psalm 147:3)
Jesus doesn’t cause hate – he loves, and loves all (Jer. 31:3)
Jesus doesn’t brush aside wrong and injustice – he is a just God (Is. 30:18-19)
Jesus doesn’t call us to fear, destruction, and death – he calls us to hope and abundance (John 10:10)
Jesus isn’t a God of confusion and chaos, but of peace (1 Cor. 14:33). In the midst of a storm, we can cry out to him and know that we will be heard (Luke 8:22-25). He will rebuke every fear and bring peace, bring calm to our hearts. Have faith in His goodness, no matter the circumstance or the storm, and experience true peace. Not like the peace of the world, but His peace that passes understanding, that guards our hearts and our minds in Christ Jesus. (Phil. 4:7)
I pray that this spoke peace and hope into your heart today, that you are empowered with a strengthened faith and God’s perfect peace. Let me know your thoughts + questions in the comments below! If you want to chat privately, contact me here.

What an encouraging post, Hope! It is so true. Despite the chaos, craziness, and evil during these times, God is still sovereign. Although we do not know what is going to happen, God does. And even though everything is all over the place, it is all apart of God’s plan. He is doing things that are according to His perfect plan. We cannot see what He has planned, but we can still trust Him. ❤
