Hey friend! I hope that you have been well. I know that these last few weeks have been crazy and probably filled with worry and fear. So much stuff is going on in the world right now and of course the enemy is taking advantage of that by filling the news, media, and our minds with fear, uncertainty, doubt, and worry.
But read this really quick:
“For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.”
2 Timothy 1:7
Go back and read that again, focusing on those underlined words.
We are not called to fear.
God has not given us fear! That’s the work of the enemy. So guess what? If God’s not worried, you don’t need to be worried. Because He is power. He is love. He is peace. And since He’s given us His Holy Spirit, He’s given us those things.

He has already overcome the world.
Although there’s uncertainty and fear circulating right now, we don’t have to fear because it’s to be expected when living in the world. Especially as Christians as we are enemies of evil. “I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.” – John 16:33.

He’s working it out for good
God isn’t going to leave us during these times, in fact He is right beside you. Not only is He with you, but He’s working this all out for good. There is always a purpose behind the pain. I believe that this tribulation will awaken many people’s hearts to the only One who gives true life and peace.
We are called to be prayer warriors!
Trials and tribulations are 1. the consequences of sin, and 2. a mask for the unseen spiritual battle that is raging on around you right now. “For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand…” We need to rise up as prayer warriors, putting on the full armor of God, and using the weapon of PRAYER to fight this battle.
So, as the people who are called by His name, Christians, let’s take heart during this time, trust that He is in control of it all, and rise up as prayer warriors, because this is a perfect time to pray for restoration, salvation, and God’s will to be done on earth as it is in heaven!
I created a reminder/call to prayer that you can download or print out and put on your desk, kitchen window, as a screen saver– wherever you are a lot so that every time you see it you can pray for what is going on right now and for hearts to be awakened around the world.

I encourage you to pray, repent, and praise the Lord every day. Every time you see this. This is an opportunity to bring revival. People are scared and a spiritual battle is raging on right before our eyes in the form of other things, but if we do what this Bible verse (and many others) says, God will hear us, forgive, and restore hearts, nations, and freedom!
So join me in this as a prayer warrior for the Lord,
Praying for His will to be done on earth as it is in Heaven, for evil to be brought down, and for revival to happen. He has promised and He is faithful.
“Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for He who promised is faithful.” Hebrews 10:23.

I pray that this empowered and encouraged you today to trust in God’s goodness and faithfulness and rise up as the prayer warrior you are called to be! How have you been feeding your faith instead of fear during this time?

So true! We don’t need to fear even though these are scary times, because we know God has a plan and is working all things for good. Thanks for the reminder! 🙂❤️

Yes, exactly Lydia! I saw a quote from Corrie Ten Boom the other day that said, “Never be afraid to trust an unknown future to a known God”. When we believe that He is FOR us, we can rest in His goodness and love towards us! I’m so glad that it encouraged you! Thanks for commenting 😊

This is so awesome, Hope! It’s so true that God can make something good come out of all this. Fearing isn’t what Christians are called to do!
