I found this awesome site a while ago, called A Merry Thought, filled with super cute minimalist DIY projects for your room, bathroom, and house. My bed and ladder is from this site and I really love them.

The blog and projects are actually by a lady who makes these things herself! So for all my ingenuitive boss babes out there, I’d totally recommend you to give these a try. As for me, I had my dad make them for me since I’m not wood working savvy in the least. But, I guess I haven’t really tried either.

This is the bed that my dad made for me, and it is the perfect minimalist day bed for lounging and sleeping. I covered mine with a linen white comforter for a clean canvas to add throw pillows to.
