Energy oat balls

So, these are actually, really good. I honestly don’t even know where to begin. Not only are these, of course, good for you, but they taste like dessert. You almost feel guilty when eating them- almost. But then you remember how they’re made out of fiber full oats, protein packed almond butter, and raw honey and you eat two more with a smile on your face. I might like these even more than my cookie dough balls – just maybe.

These energy oat balls are perfect for on the go, packing into your snack box, having on hand in the fridge for late night munchies, a little pop of sunshine on your breakfast plate, for dessert, or really just anytime, anywhere. Let’s take a look at the mouth watering and nutritious 3 main ingredients of these.

Oats- you can’t have oat balls without oats now can you? Oats are heart healthy, full of fiber, vitamins, minerals, antioxidants, and are just down right nutritious! ( source )

Almond butter – it’s a staple in our home, and we tend to buy it in bulk. Almonds are packed full of protein, nutrients, fiber, vitamins, and more. Just remember to not over do it with nuts- they’re super good for you, but just like with any food, eat in moderation. (source)

Raw honey- did you know that pure, quality, raw honey actually has rich nutrients and many health benefits? It’s antibacterial, antifungal, healing, and more. (source)
